Dr. Apathy’s research examines how health IT policy shapes EHR design and use, and how EHR use data can be leveraged to measure care delivery processes at scale. He specializes in quasi-experimental methods and EHR audit log analysis.

Marylyn’s research interests exist at the intersection of health policy and practice, with a focus on clinical operations and health equity considerations. As an orthopedic physical therapist for over 10 years, she brings a unique clinical perspective to CHIPR.
